1. Method of Payment:
We can accept the following card payments: Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Solo,and Maestro (including Switch) and Paypal.
The Toolbox takes our customers security very seriously.
Credit cards are debited before items are shipped.
2. Delivery Information:
Our prices are quoted in Sterling for delivery to the UK Mainland only.
If the item is in stock we will despatch your order within 24 hours of payment clearing - but please allow up to 3 working days for delivery.
Should there be any problems with your order, we will contact you immediately to notify you of the delay.
Should this be unsatisfactory we will, without any delay, offer you a full refund.
We keep a good level of stock and hope that we can, as a rule, fill your order from the stock we hold. However, there will, inevitably, be occasions when we are exceptionally busy and when certain items of our stock run out. If this does happen then we will despatch your order as soon as the item(s) in question is/are restocked. We will keep you advised as to the progress of your order.
Our delivery charges are worked out automatically. Each item is costed when you check out for UK Mainland delivery area's only.

FREE Delivery if check out items cost over £70 - Subject to delivery area's shown on map (two - five day delivery)
Check out items weighing upto 0.5kg - £2.95 Sent by Royal Mail Postal services (two - five day delivery)
Check out items weighing upto 1kg - £3.95 Sent by Royal Mail Postal services (two - five day delivery)
Check out items weighing upto 2kg - £5.95 Sent by Courier - Subject to delivery area's shown on map (two - five day delivery)
Check out items weighing upto 15kg, but below Free delivery £7.64 - Subject to delivery area's shown on map (two - five day delivery)
Items heavier than 2kg's will be shipped by courier with the delivery conditions indicated on the map below.

3. Warranty
All products supplied are covered by the manufacturers’ warranty, either 12, 24 or 36 months depending on manufacturer, unless otherwise stated in writing.
The warranty period commences from date of delivery/receipt.
The Toolbox cannot be liable for any defects arising from fair wear and tear, physical damage, liquid ingression or damage and or interference by the customer or any third party.
The Toolbox reserve the right to refuse to repair or replace goods if
(a) full payment for the goods has not been made
(b) the manufacturer refuses to accept the repairs/replacements under warranty for whatever reason.
4. Errors & Cancellations:
If there are any errors or shortages in your order call 0131 3467081 or email sales@thetoolboxscotland.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving your order.
There is no charge for withdrawing an order prior to the despatch of your products.
To cancel an order call 0131 3467081 or email sales@thetoolboxscotland.co.uk quoting your order, delivery and invoice number and the reason for cancellation.
Goods must be unopened and customers must take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession and both goods and packaging must be returned in resaleable condition.
Carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receipt of returned goods.
After 7 days from receipt of the product(s) a restocking fee will be deducted from any refund at 20% of the total invoiced amount including initial delivery charge and if applicable the cost of collecting any goods incurred by The Toolbox where the goods on testing are found not to be faulty.
5. Exclusions:
Customisable goods not normally stocked by The Toolbox and have been ordered by The Toolbox solely for the purpose of the cancelled order. An insured, tracked delivery method (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery) must be used to return product(s) to:

Please be aware that Royal Mail Recorded Delivery will only offer compensation up to £34 should a package not be delivered and therefore is not recommended for returning goods over £34.
Royal Mail Special Delivery or another suitable carrier must be used to goods over £40.00.
At our discretion, we may deduct our delivery costs from any refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. Pricing & Descriptions:
Products are described as accurately as possible but measurements, colours, designs and materials may occasionally vary from those illustrated.

Some of our goods cannot be sold to anyone under the age of 18 – for example anything with a blade. Please do not try and obtain goods from us that you are not entitled, in law, to possess. By ordering goods from us you are warranting that you are aged 18 or over.
